WHEREAS, Mobil Oil Corporation, 7600 Parlclawn Avenue, Minneapolis, Minnesota,
lead an off-street parking agreement with the City of P.ichfield, relating to 2816
West 66th Street, Richfield, Minnesota, which contract bears the designation of
Contract No. 2110 and which contract was guaranteed by a bond of the Federal
Insurance Company, New York, New York, in the amount of $14,600.00, and
WHEREAS, Iiobil Oil Corporation has complied with the provisions of said agree-
ment and the Federal Insurance Company of New York, New York now seeks to be relieved
of any further obligation under said bond, and
WHEREAS, there appears to be no justification for requiring tiobil Oil Corpora-
tion to continue to provide a bond for security on the performance of said agreement.
NOW TTIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
Ainnesota, as follows:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to release the Federal
Insurance Company, New York, New York for any and all acts of Niobil Oil Corporation,
committed or incurred in violation of Contract No. 2110, on and after the 13th day
of August, 1973.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Pichfield this 13th day of August,
1973.
