RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION
OF PROP®SED ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR C,P, No, 642
"WHEREAS, the following construction was performed during the year 1972-73a
Permanent street in an area bounded by 12th Avenue
on the West, Cedar Avenue on the East, Diagonal
Boulevard on the North, and 78th Street on the South,
and,
WHEREAS, city share of costs have been paid in the sum of $1,012,942,51,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richfield
as followsa
1. That the cost of permanent street construction in the above described
area to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be at least 20%
of the total cost, or $852,134,40, and therefore this sum will be assessed
against privately owned property benefited thereby.
2, That said assessment shall run for a period of 20 years and include
interest at the rate of 8% per annum,
3. The city clerk shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be assessed
for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of
land affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and
he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public
inspection.
4. The clerk shall notify the council upon completion of such proposed assesss
