WHEREAS, Mr. I, Ri.dkea , ?02R Ewing Avenue Sc~utk~, Minneapolis, Minnesota had
an qff-street parking agreet~ent with the City of Richfield rc.'.ating to 5227 Pleasant
Avenue South., which contract ~jears the designation of Contract No. 1085 and which
contract was guaranteed by a bond of the Groat American, Insurance Company, New
York, New York., in the amount of ~7, 000, and
WHEREAS,. I'. D. Ridker has complied with the provivion.s of said agreement and
the Great American Insurance Company, New York, New York, now seeks to be relieved
of any further obligation under said bond, and
WHEREAS, there appears to be no justification for reciuiring I. D. Ridker to
continue to provide a bond for security on the performarr~:~ of said agreement.
NC~W, THEREI'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City C-u~,cil of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota, as follows;
That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to release the Great
Arr~erican insurance Compan.~~ .for any and all acts of I. 1`~. Ridker, rornmitted or
incurred in violation of Contract No. 1085, on and after the 23rd day of July, 1973.
