RESOLUTION NO. 5042
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
WHEREAS, Planning Director Robert A. Worthington has resigned
from the City of Richfield effective August 3, 1973, and
WHEREAS, Robert A. Worthington served as Richfield's first City
Planner and through his efforts planning has come to be an accepted
and respected community endeavor, and
WHEREAS, Robert A. Worthington's dedication and professionalism
contributed to the significant progress which the City of Richfield has
made in planning for its future, particularly with the adoption of 'the
Comprehensive Plan, and
~r'VHEREAS, through his integrity and openness and by providing very
capable assistance to the. community in its deliberations concerning
matters related to planning, Robert A. Worthington was able 'to establish
excellent relationships with 'the City Council, Planning Commission and
the general public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Richfield City Council
and the Richfield Planning Commission express their sincere appreciation
to Robert A. Worthington for his. exceptional service and dedication to the
community and wish him well in his career.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield this 23rd day of
July, 1973.
