WHEREAS, the following construction was performed during the year 1972;
Storm Sewer construction on:
` West 74th Street Harriet Avenue to Grand Avenue
Alley N. of 74th St. Harriet Avenue to Grand Avenue, and
WHEREAS9 city share of costs have been paid in the sum of $11,950 (Est,}
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I'T RESOBVED by the city council. of the City of Richfield,
as follows;
1. 'T`hat the cost of storm sewer construction in the above described
areas to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be at least
20°Ia of the total cost, or $ 1,508.61 , a:nd therefor this sum will
be assessed against privately owned groperty benefited thereby.
2. That said assessment shall run for a period of 20 years and include
interest at t'he rate of 8% per annum,

3. 'The city cleric shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be
assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece
or parcel of land affected without regard to cash valuation, as
provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment
in his office for public inspection,
4. 'The clerl€ shall notify the council upon completion of such proposed
assessment,
