WI38REAS, the following construction wa.s performed during the year 1972<
Storm Sewer construction ono
West 68th Street Knox Avenue to Humboldt Avenue
Upton Avenue 70 1/2 Street to 71st Street, and
WHEREAS, city share of costs have been paid in the sum of $22,900 (Est.).-
NOW, THEREFORR, BE I'T RESOTVED by the city council of the City of Richfield
a.s follows ;
1. `t'hat the cost of storm sewer construction in the above described
areas to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be at least
20% of the total cost, or $228083.42 , and therefore this sum
will be assessed against privately owned property benefited thereby.
2, '?"hat said assessment shall run for a period of 20 years and include
interest at the rate of 8'/o per annum.

3. '~t.e city clerk shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be
assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece
or parcel of land affected without regard to cash valuation, as
provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment
in his office for public inspection.
4. 2`he clerk shall notify the council upon completion of such proposed
assessment.
