WHEREAS, the following construction was performed during the year 1972:

Bast 69th Street lst Avenue to 2nd Avenue Pond No. 5
"East 69th Street 3rd Avenue to 5th Avenue

WHEREAS, city share of costs have been paid in the sum of $116,350 (Estq)
NOW, '1'H,EREF'ORE, BE 11' RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richfield
as followso
1. 'I`hat the cost of storm sewer construction in the above described
areas to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be at least
20°Io of the total cost or X62,191.77 , and t~kzerefore this sum
wi7.l be assessed against privately owned property benefited thereby,

2. `That said assessment shall run for a period of 20 years and include
interest a.t the rate of 8% per annum.
3, 'The city clerk shall f®rthwith calculate the proper amount to be
assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece
or parcel of land affected without regard to cash valuation, as
provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment
in his office for public inspectionp
4. `1"he clerk shall notify the council upon completion of such proposed
assessment.
