RESOLUTION NO. 5002
RESOLUTION AMENDING THE ACCEPTING BID AND
AWARDING CONTRACTS TO CONTRACTORS FOR TAFT
AND DONALDSON PARK SITE IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 653 FOR TAFT PARK
CITY PROJECT NO. 654 FOR DONALDSON PARK
WHEREAS, the City Council accepted bids and awarded contracts for site
improvements at Donaldson and Taft Parks on May 14, 1973 by adopting Resolution
No. 4978 and,
WHEREAS, it has been determined that there was an error in the calculation
of the bid of one of the lowest base bid contractors awarded a contract, and
WHEREAS, the bid of Electric Service for the lowest base bid for Division
IV (Electrical) should read $107, 644 instead of $105 , 664 for Taft Park, with a
total of $135, 140 instead of $133, 140 and their base bid including selected
alternates should read $137,971 instead of $135,971 for Taft Park with a total
of $229, 646 instead of $227, 646.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota, as follows;
1. That the lowest base bids for the two parks by a responsible bidder
meeting specifications is amended as follows;
