RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLAiJS AND
SPECIFICATIONS FOR SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION ON THE NORTH SIDE OF
78TH STREET FROP1 PORTLAND AVENUE TO 363' EAST OF PORTLAND AVENUE

WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council, adopted on the 14th day of May, 1973,
firmed a date for a hearing on the proposed improvement of:
LOCATION
North side of 78th Street.

by sidewalk construction, and
FROM TO
Portland Avenue 363' East of Po~tland Avenue
WHEREAS, all property owners whose property is liable to be assessed for the making
of this improvement were given ten days published notice of the council hearing through
two weekly publications of the required notice, and mailed notice as required by law,
and ties hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon on the 29th day of May,
1973.
NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minn-
esota:
1. That such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in Council Resolution No.
4984 adopted on the 14th day of May, 1973.
2. That Orr-Schelen-Mayeron & Associates, Inc. are heTM~eby designated as the
engineers for this improvement. They shall prepare plans and specifications
for the making of this improvement.
3. Financing of said improvement is to be provided by transfer of monies from the
Permanent Improvement Rc~~xlving Fund (PIR). Speci:~a~ assessments hereafter
levied by reason of said improvement shall be used as a source of monies to
repay said PIR Fund.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Richfield this 29th day of May, 1973.
