RESOLUTION ORDERIPdG PREPARATION OF REPORT ON SIDEWALK
CONSTRUCTION ON THE NORTH SIDE OF 78TH STREET FROM
PORTLAND AVENUE TO 363' EAST OF PORTLAND AVENUE
CITY PROJECT N0. 650
District No. 3
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the following street:

North side of 78th Street
TERMINI
FROM TO
Portland Avenue 363' E. of Portland Ave.
by sidewalk construction and to assess all abutting property for all or a portion
of the cost of the improvement.
NOW TIiEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota,-: as follows:
1. That the proposed improvement be referred to Orr-Schelen-Mayeron &
Associates, Inc. (Consulting Engineers) for study and that they be
instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed,
advising the Council in a preliminary way, as to whether the proposed
improvement is feasible, the area to be assessed, and as to whether
it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other
improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
2. That the improvement listed in this resolution shall hereafter be
known as City Project No. 650, District No. 3a Sidewalk Construction.

3. That the cost for preliminary work shall be paid from the Construction
Fund, such costs to be reimbursed when financing has been accomplished
for the construction of this project.
