RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON PERMANENT STREET
SURFACING, ORNAriENTAL STREET LIGIITING AND APPURTENANCES THERETO
CITY PROJECT N0. 657
AREAS NOS. 6 AND 13
WIiEREAS, it is proposed to improve the following areas:
Street Improvement District No. 6. That area bounded on the
north by 66tH Street, west by Pleasant Avenue, south by 73rd
Street and east by Portland Avenue
Street Improvement District No. 13. That area bounded on the
north by 62nd Street, west by Pleasant Avenue, south by 66th
Street and east by 11th Avenue
by permanent street surfacing and ornamental street lighting and appurtenances there-
to and to assess abutting lots and parcels of land in the City of Richfield for all or
a portion of the cost of the improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
D•Iinnesota, as follows:
1. That the proposed improvements be referred to Orr-Schelen-Mayeron & Associates,
Inc. (Consulting Engineers) for study and that they be instructed to report to the
Council with all convenient speed, advising the Council in a preliminary way, as to
whether the proposed improvement is feasible, the area to be assessed, and as to
whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improve-
ment and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
2, That the improvements listed in this resolution shall hereafter be known as
City Project No. 657.
3. That the cost for preliminary work shall be paid from the Construction Fund,
such costs to be reimbursed when financing has been accomplished for the construction
of thisproject.
