RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONTRACTS
TO CONTR~ICTORS FOR TAFT AND DONALDSON PARK SITE IMPROVEMENTS.

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of_the Gity of Richfield, Minnesota, as follows:.
1.~ That at the bid opening on May 9, 1973, 2:00 P.M., C.D,S.T., in the Council
Chambers of Richfield City Hall sealed bids for the site construction of, Taft and
Donaldson Parks were opened and read aloud by the City Manager.
2. That it is hereby determined that the lowest base bids for~the two parks_by a ~~}

3. That it is hereby determined that. the above contractors with their base bids

4. That the proposed contracts between the eight contractors. listed above and. the
City of Richfield shall be known as City Project No. 653 for Taft Park and City Project
No. 654 for Donaldson Park and shall be given Clerk's File No. 9479 and be placed on file.
That said proposed contracts for the site construction of said city projects are hereby
approved and adopted subject to concurrance by the Department of Housing and Urban Develop-
ment and the Mayor .and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to execute said contracts
for or on behalf of the City of Richfield and the Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to affix the city seal thereto.
5. That payments to be made under the terms of said contracts shall be~charged
against the Construction Funds.
6. That the Coporate Surety Bond in the sum of the estimated contract price which
accompanies said proposed contracts is hereby accepted and approved.
7. That the City Clerk is authorized and directed to return the security documents
to the unsuccessful bidders upon the execution of said proposed contracts.
