WHEREAS, Resolution No. 4858 appropriated funds for each department of the
city for the year 1973, which appropriations wire revised by Res®lution No, 4874;
and
WHEREAS, a contingency appropriation was made in the general fund for various
purposes including the 1973 salary adjustments and the related fringe benefit con®
tributions9 and
WHEREAS9 Resolutions Nos. 4965, 4966, and 4974 established the 1973 salary
it
compensation. plans for certain police services, and certain general services, and
it is hereby determined that it wi11 be necessary to distribute $29,450 of the
contingency among various departmental budget activities in accordance with t'he
1973 pay plan for executive, public safety, public works, and parks and recreation,
and the various fringe benefits in these departments,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richfield
that the following transfers be made from the contingency appropriationo
