RESOLUTION REC.~?UESTING STATE LEGISLATION REQUIRING COUNTIES
AND THE STATE TO REMIT ALL TAXES COLLECTED FOR MUNICIPALITIES
TG LOCAL GOVERNMENT" WITHIN 30 DAYS AFTER COLLECTION
WHEREAS, the County and State collect taxes which must eventually be
remitted to loca 1 governments , and
WHEREAS, municipalities have needs for these funds,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Richfield wishes to have

its legislators work diligently for the adoption of legislation requiring counties and
and the State of Minnesota to remit all taxes collected for municipalities to local
government within 30 days after collection, or pay competitive interest rates on
such monies not remitted on time.
