RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS ON APRIL 19, 1973 FOR PERMANENT
STREET SURFACING, CONCRETE CURB AND GiJTTER AND APPURTENANCES
THERETO.

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 4778, passed by the City Council on the 12th day of
June, 1972, a preliminary report for permanent street surfacing, concrete curb and
gutter and appurtenances thereto for City Project No. 650, District No. 14, by Orr-
Schelen-Mayeron & Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers) was so ordered, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 4791, passed by the City Council on the 26th
day of June, 1972, the preliminary report so ordered was received and public hearings
on said improvement were so ordered to be held on the 4th and 6th days of December,
1972, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution Noo 4882, passed by the city Council on the 6th day of
December, 1972, Orr-Schelen-Mayeron & Associates, Inc. was so ordered to prepare
plans and specifications for permanent surfacing and appurtenances thereto for City
Project Noo 650, District No. 14, as outlined in said Resolution Noo 4778 and has
presented such plans and specifications to the council for approvalo
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLtIED by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved, clerk's File
No. 9464.
2. That sealed bids will be publicly opened by the City Manager on April 19,
1973, at 11:00 a.m. in the council chambers of the Richfield City and
that such bids will be tabulated and presented to the City Council for
award on April 23, 1973.
3. That all bids shall be filed with the City Clerk not later than 11:00 a.m.
on the 19th day of April, 1973, and that said bids will be opened and
read aloud at that time.
4o That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for
bids ot~ said improvement as required by law.
5. That the omission and deletion of that portion of District 14 lying east
of Highway 36 and south of 66th Street is hereby approved, ratified and
confirmed, it being determined by the Council that such area shall be
dropped from City Project Noo 650 for inclusion in a future projecto
