RESOLUTIOi1 ESTALLISHING SEASONAL LOAD
RESTRICTIOI~IS ON CITY STREETS
LE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, as follows:
Seasonal load restrictions are hereby adopted, prohibiting tY~e aperation
of any vehicles upon any street or highway of the city, if such vehicles have
an axle weight in excess of 4 tons.
1. "Street or highway°' means the entire width between boundary lines of
any roadway, street, highway, alley, or any other place open for the operation
of motor vehicles by the public.
2. Such restrictions shall be for the period from March 20th to May 15th,
1973.
3. The city administration is authorized and directed to post such load
restrictions as required by the provisions of Section 4.06 of the Ordinance
Code of the city.
4. This resolution is adapted pursuant to Section 4.06 of the Ordinance Code
of the city. In addition to the exceptions provided for in said section, such
load restrictions shall not be applicable to school buses and buses operated by
the Metropolitan Transit Commission.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of I'.ichfield this 12th day of March,
1973.
