BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of P.ichfield, Minnesota, as
follows:
1. That it is hereby determined that the bid of Pvortliwest :Bituminous Co., Inc.,
Lox 20-004, Minneapolis, Minnesota, is the lowest bid by a responsible bidder for the
construction of City Project No® 650, permanent street surfacing, Area No. 3.
2. That the bid of Northwest Uituminous Co., Inc. for the construction of the
above referenced project on a unit price basis, at the price contained in their
proposal of ivlarch 9, 1973, with an estimated construction cast of $729,011.25 is
hereby accepted.
3. That the proposed contract between orthwest Bituminous Co., Inc. and the
City of Richfield be given Clerk's File iJo..9459 and be placed on file. That
said proposed contract for the construction of said city project is hereby approved
and adopted and the Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to execute
said contract for or on behalf of the City of Richfield and the Clerk is authorized
and directed to affix the city seal thereto.
4. That payments to be made under the terms of said contract shall be charged
against the Construction Fund.
5, That the Corporate Surety Bond in the sum of the estimated contract price
which accompanies said proposed contract is hereby accepted and approved.
6. That the City Clerk is authorized and directed to return the security
documents to the unsuccessful bidders upon the execution of said proposed contract.
