1973 CONTINGENCY ACCOUNT TO PUBLIC ~A.~~E~ DE]~ARTMENT
WHEREAS, Resolution Noy 455 appre~~ra.'ted' fu~4~~ f®~' each department of
the city for the year 1973, which app~cc~pria.ti®~.s wares revised by Resolution. Noa

WHEREAS, a cont~.ngency appropriau:~~on ~•~as made l.n the general fund fd~w
varioaas purposes including the 1973 salary adjustmexats and the related fringe
benefit contributions; and
WHEREAS, the 1973 budget for salaries of i'ire personnel was prepared on
the 1971 salary base; and
WHEREAS, resolutions 4910 and: 4911 determined a negotiated 1972

salary settlement, and it is necessary to adjust 1973 budgeted salaries to the
NOW, THEREFORE, BE XT RESOLVED by the City Co~xncil of the City of Richfield
that the sum of $15,Q93 be transferred from the contingency appropriation to
the Public Safety Departmento
