RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS ON FEBRUARY 16, 1973 FOR PERMAi~IENT
STREET SURFACING, CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER AND APPURTENACNES
THERETO.

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 4778, passed by the City Council on the 12th day
of June, 1972, a preliminary report for permanent street surfacing, concrete curb
and gutter and. appurtenances thereto for City Project No. 650, District No. 2,
by Orr-Schelen-Mayeron & Associates, Inc. (Consulting Engineers) was so ordered,
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 4791, passed by the City Council on the
26th day of June, 1972, the preliminary report so ordered was received and public
hearings on said improvement were so ordered to be held on the 22nd and 24th days
of August, 1972, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 4816, passed by the City Council on the 24th day
of August, 1972, Orr-Schelen-Mayeron & Associates, Inc. was so ordered to prepare
plans and specifications for permanent surfacing and appurtenances thereto for Gity
Project No. 550, District No. 2, as outlined in said Resolution No. 4778 and has
presented such plans and specifications to the council for approval.
NOW, TIIEREFURE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved, Clerk's File
No. 9449.
2. That sealed bids will be publicly opened by the City Manager on February,
16, 1973, at 11:00 a.m. in the council cham5ers of the Richfield city hall
and that such bids will be tabulated and presented to the City Council for
award on February 26, 1973.
3. That all bids shall be filed with the City Clerk not later than 11:00 a.m.
on the 16th day of February, 1973, and that said bids will be opened and
read aloud at that time.
4. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids
on said improvement as required by law.
