RESOLUTION DESIGNATING CITE'°S CONTRIBUTION
TOWARD EMPLOYEE HOSPITAL-MEDICAL INSURANCE PREMIUM
WHEREAS ahospital-medical/su.rgical group insurance plan is available from the
Hennepin County Cooperative Purchasing Insurance Group for city employees. and their
families , and
WHEREAS all permanent full-time employees and permanent probationary employees
shall be eligible for plan benefits as described in the Personnel Rules and Regulations
Ordinance , and
WHEREAS the City Council is required by resolution to determine the City°s contrib°
ution toward a single person premium,
NOW , THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Richfield auth-
orize the City Manager to attempt to obtain approval to join the Hennepin County Coeper°
ative Purchasing Insurance Group and hereby appz~~ves participation in the health and
life insurance policy carried by this group.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City shall contribute $19.04 per month toward a
single person premium for all eligible employees . ($228 , 48 per annum) , with the particm
ipating employee paying any remaining premium charge through payroll deductions ,
