RESOLUTION RELATING TO RELEASE OF BOND ON OFF-STREET PARKING
General Mi11s, Inc.
711 West 66th Street
Use: Pie Shop and Ice Cream Parlor
WHEREAS, General Mills, Inc. , 711 West 66th Street, Richfield, Minnesota had
an off-street parking agreement with the City of Richfield relating to 711 West 66th
Street, which contract bears the designation of Contraot No. 2059 and which contract
was guaranteed by a bond of the United Pacific Insurance Company, Tacoma, Wash. ,
in the amount of $5 , 750.00, and
WHEREAS General Mills, Inc. has complied with the provisions of said agreement
and the United Pacific Insurance Company of Tacoma, Washington, now seeks to be
relieved of any further obligation under said bond, and
WHEREAS, there appears to be no justification for requiring General Mills, Inc.
to continue to provide a bond for security on the performance of said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota , a s follows :
That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to r elease the United
Pacific Insurance Company of Tacoma, Washington, for any and all acts of General
Mills, Inc. , committed or incurred in violation of Contract No. 2059, on and after
the 11th day of O~;tober, 1972.
Adopted by the city council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota this 11th day of
October, 1972.
