RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS
AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR ORNAMENTAL STREET LIGHTS
CITY PROJECT N0. 650
DISTRICT N0. 4
WHEREAS, a resolution of the city council, adopted an the 26th day of June,
1972, fixed a date for a hearing on the proposed improvement of
Street Improvement Area No. 4. That area bounded on the
north by 76th Street, west by Penn Avenue, south by Highway
494 and east by Highway 35W, excepting 76th Street, Penn
Avenue, Highway 494 and Highway 35W
by ornamental street lights and appurtenances thereto, and
WHEREAS, all property owners.. whose property is liable to be assessed for the
making of this improvement, were given ten days published notice of the council
hearing through two weekly publications of the required notice, and mailed not#ce
as required by law, and the hearing was held thereon, on the 5th day of .September,
1972.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota:
1. That such improvement is hereby oxdered as proposed in Council
Resolution No. 4778 adopted on the 12th day of June, 1972.
2. That Orr-Schelen Mayeron & Associates, Inc. are. hereby designated
as the Engineers for this improvement. They shall prepare plans
and specifications for the making o.f such improvement.
