RESOLUTION CLASSIFYING STORM SEWER EXPENSES
BE .IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota, as
follows:
1. The council herewith finds and determines:

A, In conjunction with the construction of Storm Sewer Project No. 639
it is necessary to construct a storm water holding pond on certain lots now
being used by the city as a park and recreation area.
B. Such lots are Lots 5 through 9, Block 5, and Lots 8 through 10,
and 14 through 20, Block 12, New Ford Town,
C, The use of such lots as a storm water holding pond necessitates the
improvement of the area so that it continues to be usable as a park and recreation
area,
D. Such improvement is necessary and incidental to the making of such
storm sewer improvement,
2, The following items of improvement of such area are therefore classified
as part of the expense of the making of said Project No, 639:
A, Landscaping of the area adjacent to the water holding pond with trees
and grass,
B, The installation of a stairway in the vicinity of the play area and
shelter area.
C. The construction of an asphalt area for playground equipment and court
games to replace the existing area,
D. The construction of retaining walls to provide the necessary park and
play areas on the west side of the ponding area,
E. The design costs related to the preparation of working drawing and
specifications for purpose of bidding,
