RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY
PENN LAKE TERRACE SECOND ADDITION
BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richfield as follows:
1. It is hereby determined to be necessary to the public health, safety, convenience,
prosperity and general welfare to acquire for park and other municipal purposes the
following described property:
Lot 12 , Block 1 , Penn Lake Terrace Second Addition
2. The owner of this property has offered to sell and convey the same to the city for
the sum of. $4,000, subject to payment by the city of the taxes due and payable in the
year 1972 and thereafter. Such offer is hereby determined to be a fair and reasonable
offer and the same is hereby accepted.
3. The mayor, manager and administrative staff are authorized and directed to
complete the purchase of said lot in accordance with the provisions of this resolution
and subject to applicable legal requirements.
4. The purchase price and other expense of acquiring such lot shall be paid out of
the Special Revenue Fund .
Passed by the city council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota this 26th day of
June, 1972.
