1ESOLUTION AUTHORI?ING PURCHASE
OF LOTS--NEW FORI)TOWN
BE IT RESOLVER by the City Council of the City of Richfield as follows
1. It hs hereby determined to be necessary to the public health, safety, conven9.ence,
prosperity and general welfare to acquire for park, playground, drainage and other municipal
purposes the following described lots in 1'~Tew Fordtown:
Lots 5 - 9 , Block 5
Lots 8•-10, 14-20, Block 12
Lots 8 , 16 and 17 , Block 19
Lot 4 , Block 13
Lots 8, 19, and 23, Block 6
Lots 9 , 21 , 2 3 and 24 , Block 14
Lot 6, Block 7
2. The Minneapolis-St. Paul Metropolitan Airport Commission has offered to convey
such lots to the City of Richfield for the amount that it has invested in the acquisition of
such lots, i.e. the sum of $5,743.54, which is hereby determined to be a fair and
reasonable offer and the same is hereby accepted.
3. The mayor, manager and administrative staff are authorized and directed to complete
the acquisition of such lots in accordance with this resolution and subject to applicable
legal requirements .
4. Trie purchase price and other expense of acquiring such lots shall be paid out of
the Contingency Account of the General Fund and the Storm Sewer Construction Fund.
