13E IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, 1~linnesota, as
follor~~ e
1. That it is hereby determined that the bid of Minnesota Valley Surfacing
Company, highway 101, Savage, Minneso&,a, is the lowest bid by a responsible bidder
for the construction of City Project ego. b42, permanent street surfacing, Area 1.
2. That the bid of P~innesota Valley Surfacing Company for the construction
of the above referenced project on a unit price basis, at the price contained in
their proposal of June 23, 1972, with an estimated construction cost of $694,565,00
is hereby accepted.
3. That the proposed contract between i~iinnesota Valley Surfacing Company
and the City of Richfield be given C1erk's File loo. 9408 and be placed on file.
That said proposed contract for the construction of said city project is hereby
approved and adopted and the Mayor and TTanager are hereby authorized and directed
to execute said contract for or in behalf of the City of Richfield and the Cleric
is authorized and directed to affix the city seal thereto.
4. That payments to be made under the terms of said contract shall be charged
against the Construction Fund.
5. That the Corporate Surety Bond in the sum of the estimated contract price
which accompanies said proposed contract is hereby accepted and approved.
6. That the City Clerk is authorized and directed to return the security docu-
ments to the unsuccessful bidders upon the execution of said proposed contract.
