RESOLUTION APPROVING PLA~vS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING
ADVERTISEP4ENT FOR BIDS ON JULY 7, 1972 FOR ORNAMENTAL STREET
LIGHTING AND APPURTENANCES THERETO.

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 4760 passed by the City Council on the 24th day of
April, 1972 a preliminary report for city Project No. 648 by the City Engineer was
so ordered, and
W1iEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 4761 passed by the City Council on the 24th
day of April, 1972 the preliminary report so ordered was received and a public hearing
on said improvement was so ordered to be held on May 15, Tay 16, May 17 and A1ay 18,
1972, and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 4765, passed by the City Council on the 18th day of
May, 1972, tl~e preparation of plans and specifications for ornamental street lighting
was so ordered for City Project No. 648' as outlined in said Resolution No. 4760 and
such plans and specifications have been pres-anted to the Council, and
WiiEREAS, by Resolution No. 4765, passed by the City Council on the 18th day of
May, 1972, City Project No. 642 and 648 were combined and is now known and referred
to as City Project No. 642.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. That such plans and specifications are hereby approved, Clerk's File No.
2. Thai sealed bids will be publicly opened by the City Manager on July 7,
_1972 at 11:00 A.M, in the Council Chambers and that such bids will be
tabulated and presented to the City Council for award on the 10th day
July, 1972.
3. That all bids shall be filed with the City Clerk not later than 11:00 A.M.
on the 7th day of July, 1972, and that said bids will be opened and read
aloud at that time.
4. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for
bids on said improvement as required by law.
