1972-4764rRESULUTIUi~T NU. 4764 RESOLUTION URDERI.i1G IMPROVEMENT, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AiVD AUTHURILING ADVERTISEMENT FUR CUNSTRUCTIUN BIDS CITY PROJECT NU. 642 Clerk's File No. 9391 WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted on the 5th day of April, 1971, a preliminary report was prepared by the City Engineer with reference to permanent street improvements and appurtenances thereto as designated in Reso- lution No. 4542, and WHEREAS, such preliminary report was received by the Council on February 2~3, 1972, pursuant to Resolution No. 4741, and WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 474$ of the Council adopted on the 27th day of March, 1972, and pursuant to published and written notice as required by law, public hearings have been held on City Project No. 642. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota, as follows: 1. City Project rdo. 642 consisting of permanent street improvements, concrete curbs and gutters and appurtenances thereto, is hereby ordered to be made as propose? and described in the preliminary report for sai.d~project. 2. Construction drawings and specifications for said City Project No. 642, prepared by Orr-Schelen-Mayeron & Associates, Inc. are hereby approved and ordered placed on file in the office of the City Clerk, Clerk's File No. 9391. 3. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to advertise for bids for the construction of said project in accordance with such drawings and specificationso Publication for such advertisement for bids shall be made at least once in the official newspaper of-the city and at least once in the construction bulletin no less than three weeks before the last day for the submission of bids, as required by law. Bids may be received and opened publicly by the City l~ianager and one or more department heads of the city administration, tabulated in advance of the Council meeting at which they are to be considered by the Council, and thereupon presented to the Council for consideration.
