RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATION FROM THE
1972 CONTINGENCY ACCOUNT TO THE FIRE DIVISION OF THE PUBLIC
SAFETY DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 4658 appropriated funds for each department of
the city for the year 1972; and
WHEREAS, a contingency appropriation was made in the General Fund for
unforeseen necessary and emergency expenses of the city during 1972; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary and appropriate to the health, safety
and welfare of the city to distribute $9,280 of the contingency to the Fire
Division of the Public Safety Department in order to aid in the purchase of
a fully equipped 1250 GPM fire truck.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Richfield that the sum of $9,280 be transferred from the contingency appro-
priation to the Fire Division of the Public Safety Department.
