RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF FIVE YEAR
STREET LIGHTING CONTRACT WITH NORTHERN STATES
POWER COMPANY
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota,
as follows:
1. A proposed contract between Northern States Power Company and the
City of Richfield, providing for street lighting for a period of five years
commencing April 1, 1972, is hereby given Clerk's File No. G-9375, and ordered
to be placed on file.
2. It is hereby determined to be necessary and expedient to enter into
such contract on behalf of the city.
3. The mayor and manager are hereby authorized and directed to execute
such agreement for and on behalf of the City of Richfield.
4. All sums payable pursuant to the terms of such contract shall be pay-
able out of the Street Lighting.Divis~ion of the General Fund,
Passed by the council of the City of Richfield this 28th day of February,
1972.
