RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF APPROPRIATION FROM THE
1972 CONTINGENCY ACCOUNT TO FINANCE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 4658 appropriated funds for each department of
the city for the year 1972; and
WHEREAS, a contingency appropriation was made in the General Fund for
unforeseen necessary and emergency expenses of the city during 1972; and
WHEREAS, the 1971 extra session laws placed a requirement upon munici-
palities of notifying property owners of their change in valuation; and
WHEREAS, the cost of fullfilling this legislative requirement had not
been anticipated in preparing the 1972 budget document, and it is hereby
determined that it will be necessary to distribute $2,700 of the contingency
to the finance department:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Rich
field that $2,700 be transferred from the contingency appropriation to the
finance department.
