RESOLUTION No. 4727
RESOLUTION AUTHORI`~ING TRANSFER OF APPR®PRIATICNS FROM THE 1972
CON`IINCENC'i' ACCOT~'NT TO VARIOUS BUDGET ACTIVITIES
WfIERE;AS, Resolution No. 4658 appropriated funds for each department of the city
for the year 1972 and
T~I~H~RE.AS, a contingency appropriation was made in the general fund for various
purposes including the 1972 salary adjustments and the related fringe benefit contri~
butions~ and
WHEREAS, Resolutions Noso 4715, 4716, 4717, 4718 and 4719 established the 1972
sals.ry compensation plans for police services, part-time and seasonal, labor and
trades and general services, and it is hereby determined that it will be necessary to
distribute $97,956 of the contingency among various departmental budget activities
in accordance with the 1.972 pay plan for executive, legal, finance, planning, public
safety, public works, health, and parks and recreation, and the various fringe benefits
in these departments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE21 by the city council of the City of Richfield that
the following transfers be made from the contingency appropriation:
