RESOLUTION RELATING TO R$LEASE OF BOND ON OFF-STREET PARKING
Midwest Mortuary, Inca
6521 Cedar Avenue South
Location: 6441 Cedar Avenue South
Use: Proposed Mortuary Service

GTHEREAS, Midwest Mortuary, Inc. had an off-street parking agreement with the City
of Kichfield relating to 6441 Cedar Avenue South, which contract bears the designation
of Contract Noo 2002 and which contract was guaranteed by a bond of the A11ied Mutual.
Insurance Company, Des Mooines, Iowa, in the $um of Eight Hundred ($800.00) Dollars, and
WHEREAS, said Midwest Mortuary, Inc. did not construct. a mortuary at 644. Cedar
Avenue South as originally planned, and
WHEREAS, there appears to be no justification for requiring Midwest Mortuary, Into
to continue to provide a contract and bond for security on the performance of said
agreement>
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minn-
esota, as follows:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to cancel Contract No.
2002 and release the Allied Mutual Insurance Company, Des Moines, Iowa, from .liability
for any and all acts of Midwest Mortuary, Inc., committed or incurred in violation of
said Contract Noo 2002, on and after the 24th day of January, 1972,
