RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE 1972
SALARY COMPENSATION PLAN
WHEREAS, Section 2.33 of the Ordinance Code of the City of Richfield provides
that the assignment of classes to pay grades, the number of steps in each grade,
the bi-weekly rates in each grade, the method of normal progression through the
pay grade and the work week in hours for each class be established by council
resolution, and
WHEREAS the city administration has prepared a 1972 pay plan for the position
classifications included in the Richfield Police Officers Federation according to
the terms of a two year agreement approved by the city council on December 20, 1970
for the years 1971 and 1972,
WHEREAS, the city administration has prepared a 1972 pay plan for management
position classifications within the police department which maintains the same
salary differentials as in 1971,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the city council do and hereby does
establish for the year 1972 the following pay plan, which is to be effective on the
first day of the pay period closest to January 1, 1971, and subject to the provisions
of. the personnel rules and regulations ordinance.
