off-street parking agreement with the City of Richfield relating to 7500 Lyndale Avenue
South, which contract bears the designation of Contract Noe 1084, and which contract was
guaranteed by a bond of The Continental Insurance Company, New York, New York, in the
amount of $8,9®Oo®®, and
UJHEREAS, Apco Oil Corporation has complied witty the provisiions of said agree-
ment and The Continental Insurance Company, New York, New York, now seeks to be relieved
of any further obligation under said bond, and
WfiEF.EAS, there appears to be no justification for requiring Apco Oil Corporation
to continue to provide a bond for security on the performance of said agreernent.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minnesota,
as follows:
That the City Manager is hereby auth®rized and directed to release The Continental
Insurance Company, New York, New York for any and all acts of Apco Oil Corporation,
committed or incurred in violation of said Contract Noo 1084, on and after the 13th day
of December, 197.10
