1971-4707rRESOLUTION No. 4707 RESOLUTION .AUTHORIZING REVISION OF 1972 BUDGET OF VARI~?US DEPAR'1~lENTS AND RECERTIFYING THE LEVYING OF TAXES WHEREAS, Resolution No. 4658 adopted a budget for the City of Richfield for the year 1972, and determined direct ad valorem taxes to be levied upon all taxable property in the City of Richfield for the year 1971, payable in 1972, and WHEREAS, the 1971 legislature passed a new law following the adoption of this budget in which increased state aids were authorized for municipalities, and WHEREAS, the new state law requires all municipalities to recertify their 1972 budget and the levying. of taxes giving effect to the aggregate of receipts allowed in this new state law. NOW, 'L'fiEREFORE, EE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, as follows: ction 1. '~h.e estimated gross revenues of the City of Richfield from all sources, including general ad valorem tax levies as hereinafter set forth for the year 1972,. including. prior years levies budgeted for 1972, as the same are more fully detailed the city manager°s official copy of the 1972 budget, are hereby found and determined to be as followso FUND AMOUNT GENERAL Ft1ZV7J $3,239,790 Resolution No, 2 ° (continued) ction 30 There is hereby levied upon all taxable property in the City of Richfield a direct ad valorem tax in the year 1971, payable in 1972, for the following purposes and in the following amounts: PURPOSE AMOUNT GENERAL FUND $1,731,594 BONDS AND INTEREST ~ None ~ v Previously certified by deferred levy, see separate cancellation resolutions. Provision has been made in the General Fund for payment of the City`s contributory share to Public Employees` Retirement Association, and the police and firemen`s relief associationso Provisions nave also been. made in the General Fund revenues for receipt of the State Sales and Excise Tax per capita distribution. Section 4. A certified copy of this resolution shall be transmitted to the County Auditor.
