WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted on the 8th day of March,
1971, a report has been prepared by Orr-Schelen-Mayeron & Associates, Inc. (Consulting
Engineers) with reference to storm sewer improvement as designated in .Resolution __?o.
1+518 and this report was received by the Council on October 26, 1971, Clerk's Fi.le.~No.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE, IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minn-
esota:
1. That the Council consider the improvement of the district hereinafter described
in accordance with the report and the assessment of the property lying within the district
within the following described boundary line to-wit:
All of that property in Block 4, Betchers Addition; Lots 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and
11 of Block 3, said addition; Lots 9, 10 and 11 of Block 2, said addition;
Lot 2, Block 1 of Nico~.let Homes.Addition; Lots 1 and 2 of Block 2, said
addition; Lots 1 and 2, of Block 3,'said addition; Lots 1 and 2 of Block
4, said addition; Lots' 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, '8'', 9 and 10', of Block 5, said
addition; Lots 1 through 10, Block 6 of said addition; Lots 1 through 10,
Block 7 of said addition, Lots 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 of Block 8, said addition;
Lots 1, 2 and 3 of Block 4 of Rearrangement of Nicollet Homea Second
Addition; Lots 1 through 6 of Block 3 of said addition; Lots 1 through 6
of Block 2 of said addition; Lots 4, 5, and 6 of Block 1 of said addition;
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, of Block 5, said addition; Lots 1, 6, 7, 8, 9 and
10 cf Block 6 of said addition; Lots 1 and 10 of Block 7, of said addition;
Lot 10 of Block 8, of said addition.
Beginning on the centerline of Garfield Avenue South and its intersection
with the western extension of the south line of Lot 7, Block 3, Kendale
Addition; thence southerly along said centerline and extension thereof to
its intersection with the western extension of the south line of Lot 1, Block
4, Adolfson and Peterson's First E.d3ition; thence easterly along said line and
extension thereof, to the southeast corner. of Lot 1; thence easterly across
Harriet Avenue South to the southwest.-cornea of Lot 14, Block 5, Adolfson and
Peterson's First Addition ;thence easterly to the southeast corner~of said Lot;
thence southerly to the southeast corner of Lot 8, said block; thence easterly
to the southeast corner of Lot 7, said block; thence easterly across Grand Ave.
South to the southwest corner of Lot 8, Block 6, said addition; thence easterly
to the southeast corner of said lqt; thence northerly to the northeast corner
of Lot 14, said block; thence northerly across West 63rd Street to the south-

Lot ~+, said block; thence westerly across Harriet Avenue South to the
northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 3, said addition; thence westerly to the
point of beginning.
for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement at an estimated total cost of the
improvement of $69,080.00.
2. A Public Hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 13th day of
December, 1971 in the council chambers of the city hall at 7:00 P.M. and the clerk shall
give published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
