RESOLUTION RELATING TO RELEASE OF BOND ON OFF-STREET PARKING
Norman G. Jensen, Inc.
324 Fourth Avenue South
Location: 6300 Cedar Ave. So.
Use: Air Freight Cargo Station Facility
WHEREAS, Norman ~,. Jensen, Inc., 324 Fourth Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota,
a an o -street park ng agreemeat with the City of Richfield relating to 6300 Cedar
Avenue South, which contract bears the designation of Contract No. 2064, and which
contract was guaranteed by a bond of the United Pacific Insurance Company, Tacoma,
Washington, in the amount of $3,000.00, and
WHEREAS, Norman G. Jensen, Inc. has complied with the provisions of said agree-
mast- and the United Pacific Insurance Company, Tacoma, Washington, now seeks to be
relieved of any further obligation under said bond, and
WHEREAS, there appears to be no ,justification for requiring Norman G. Jensen, Inc.
to continue to provide a bond for security on the performance of said agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield, Minn-
esota, as follows:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to release the United
Pacific Insurance Company, Tacoma, Washington, for any and all acts of Norman G.
Jensen, Inc., committed or incurred in violation of said Contract No. 2064, on and
after the 27th day of September, 1971.
Adopted by the City Council this 27th day of September, 1971.
