RESOLUTION APPROVING LAYOUT AND CONTRACT FOR OFF-STREET PARKING ~
IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICATION N0, 71-12, CONTRACT NO. 2097, AND
APPROVING SAVINGS CERTIFICATES IN LIEU OF BOND

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rick field, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the proposed gebinetric layout of the off-street parking as contained in Off-
Street Parking Application No. 71-12, Contract No. 2097, is hereby approved sub3ect to and
upon completion~of°performance of the contract for such off-street parking as here~.nafter
authorized.
2. That the proposed off-street parking contract for the improvement of said off-
street parking, bearing Contract No. 2097,.be given Clerk's File No. 4h48 be placed
on file and that the manager be authorized to sign said contract and the clerk, be authorized
to seal the same for and on behalf of this city.
3. That the off-street parking operator's bond for performance of the conditions of
said off-street parking contract, in the amount of $3,500.00 on which Savings Certificate
x'34 dated April 26, 1971, drawn on the Summit State Bank of Bloomington, Minnesota in the
amount of $1,000.00 and Savings Certificate ~~J.1250 dated September 15, 1970, drawn on the
Northwestern National Hank of Hopkins, Minnesota in the amount of $2,500.00, and ass~.gned to
the City of Richfield, is hereby accpeted in lieu of a surety bond.
4. That responsibility for the proper upkeep and maintenance of said off-street parking
lot shall remain the responsibility of the off-street parking lot operator in accordance
with Ordinance No. 4.05.
