RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR CITY PROTECT
N0. 614.
WHEREAS, the following construction was performed during the years 1970 drirl
1971:
Street and alley.oiling improvement program in various
parts of the city as described in Resolution No. 4355 -
"Ordering Improvement and Preparation of Plans and
Specifications for 1970 Annual Street Improvement and
Oiling Program!'; and
WHEREAS, the city's share of costs have been paid in the sum of $164.,986.87;
NOW,. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richfield
as follows:
1. That the cost of the street and alley oiling and. maintenance in the above
described area to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be at least
20%.of total cost,. or $ and therefore this sum will be as-sessed
against privately owned property benefited thereby.
2. That said assessment shall run for a period of three years and include
interest at the rate of 8% per annum.

3. 'I.'he city clerk shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to-be assessed
for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of
land affected without regard to cash valuatip~n, as provided by law, and
he shall file a.copy of such proposed assessment in his office fore-.gubli~••
inspection.
4. Tfie clerk shall notify the council upon completion of such propc~sed~=assess-
ment.
