RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERTNG' PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL
FOR CITY' PROJECT NO. 617
WHEREAS, the following construction was performed during the year 1970:
Storm sewer .construction on 67th Street from Oliver Avenue to Morgan Avenue;
and on 69th Street from Oliver Avenue to Fenn Avenue
WHEREAS, city share of costs have been paid in-the sum of .$15 , 448.06
NOW,. THEREFORE, BE_ IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of .Richfield as
follows
1. That the cost of storm sewer construction. in the above described area to be
specially assessed is hereby declared to be at least 20% of total cost or
$4.,190.86 and therefore this' sum will be assessed .against privately
owned property benefited thereby .
2. That said assessment shall run fora ,period of 20 years and include interest .
at the rate of 6% per annum.
3. The -city clerk shall forthwith calculate the proper .amount to be assessed
for such. improvement .against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land
affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by lavs, :and he shall
file a .copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection.
4. The clerk shall .notify the council upon cypmpletion of such proposed .assessment.
Passed by the city. council of the City of Richfield this 9th -day of August, 1971.
