RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL
FOR CITY PROJECT NO. 616
WHEREAS, the following construction was performed during the year 1970:
Storm sewer construction on East 77th Street from Oakland Avenue to 17th Avenue.
WHEREAS, city share of costs have been paid in the sum of .$100,460.50
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the -city council of the City of .Richfield as
follows:
1, That the -cost of storm sewer construction in the above described area to be
specially assessed is hereby declared to be at least 20% of total cost or
$ 31,038.93 and therefore this sum will be assessed against privately
owned property benefited thereby .
2. That said assessment shall run for a period of 20 years and include interest
at the rate of 6% per annum.
3. The city clerk shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be assessed
for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land
affected without regard to c-ash valuation, as provided by law, and 1~ -shall
file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection.

4. The clerk shall notify the council upon completion of such proposed assessment.
