RESOLUTION NO. 4614
RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL
FOR CTTY PROJECT NO. 601
WHEREAS, the following cons truction was performed during the year 1970;
Storm sewer construction on Diagonal Boulevard, Bloomington Avenue to
17th Avenue
WHEREAS, city share of costs have been paid in the sum of $18,118.47
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richfield as
follows:
1. That the cost of the storm sewer construction in the above described
area to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be at least 20%
of total cost or $2,842.97 and therefore this sum will be assessed
against privately owned property benefited thereby.
2. That said assessment shall run for a period of 20 years and include
interest at the rate of 6% per annum.
3. The city clerk shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be
assessed for such improvement. against every assessable lot, piece
or parcel of land affected without regard to cash valuation, as
provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment
in his office for public inspection.
4. The clerk shall notify the council upon completion of such proposed
assessment.
Passed by the city council of the City of Richfield this 9th day of August, 1971.
