RESOLUTION NO. 4610
RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO SE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL
FOR CITY PROJECT NO. 599
WHEREAS, the following construction was performed during the year 1970:
Storm sewer construction on 18th Avenue South, East 71st Street extended
to East 72nd Street; East 72nd Street, 16th Avenue South to 18th Avenue SouthP
17th Avenue South, East 72nd Street to East 73rd Street.
WHEREAS, the city share of costs have been paid in the sum of $ 35 , 339.39
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richfield,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the cost of storm sewer construction in the above described area to
be specially assessed is hereby declared to be at least 20 % of total cost or
$6,801.84 and therefore this sum will be assessed against privately
owned property benefited thereby.
Z. That said assessment shall run for a period of ZO years and include
interest at the rate of 6% per annum.
3. maV,V city clerk shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be assessed
for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of
land affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and
he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public
inspection.
4. The clerk shall notify the council upon completion of such proposed
assessment.
