RESOLUTION NO. 4604
RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL
FOR CITY' PROJECT N®. 595
WHEREAS, the fo~.lowing construction was perforaned during the year 1970;
Storm sewer construction on West 74th Street, Upton Avenue to Washburn Avenue
WHEREAS, city share of costs have been paid in the sum of $13,445.36
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the City of Richfield as
follows ;
1. The the cost of storm sewer construction on the above described area to be
specially as"sessed is hereby declared to be at least 20 % of total cost or $13,445.39
and therefore this sum will be assessed against privately owr~e d property
benefited thereby. _
2. That said assessment shall run for a period of ZO years and include interest
at the rate of 6 % per annum .
3. The city clerk shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be assessed
for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land
affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall
file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection.. _
4. The clerk shall notify the council upon completion of such proposed assessment.
