1971-4585rr ~, !. ~ RESOLUTION N0,4585 RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE 1971 SALARY COMPENSATION PLANS WHEREAS, Section 2 0 33 of the ordinance code. of the City of Richfield provides that the assignment of classes to pay grades, the number of steps in each grade, the bpi®weekly rates in each grade, the method of normal progression through the pay grade and the work week in hours for each class be established by council resolution, and WHEREAS, an employee review and appeals procedure was initiated in con junction with the position classification and pay plan survey conducted by .the Jacobs Company, a personnel consulting firm, and WHEREAS, as a result of the employee review and appeals procedure the Jacobs Company has recommended that certain position classifications be reassigned to new .salary grades, NOW, THEREFORE BE TT RESOLVED that the city council does hereby reassign the following position classifications to the new grade levels indicated effective the first day of the pay period closest to January 1, 1971, except for the position of Juvenile Officer which shall become effective following a promotional examina® tion and appointment by the city manager, POSITION CLASSIFICATION PAY PLAN GRADE HRS/WEEK Cashier General Services G7 40 Programmer Analyst I General Services G13 40 Programmer Analyst II ~ General Services G15 40' Personnel Director General Services G18 40 Environmental Health Director General Services G18 40 juvenile Officer Public Safety®Police PF3 40 Meter Repair & Record Control Man Labor & Trades LT4 40 Passed by the City Council of the City of Richfield this 1 4th day of June, 19710 W tanley W, Olson Mayor Attest: Thomas J< Mo n Clerk
