RESOLUTION NO. 4565
RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE 1971
SALARY COMPENSATION PLAN
WHEREAS, Section 2.33 of the Ordinance Code of the City of Richfield provides
that the assignment of classes to pay grades, the number of steps in each grade, the
biweekly rates in each grade, the triethod of normal progression through the pay grad
and the work week in hours for each class be established by council resolution, and
WHEREAS, the city administration has prepared a 1971 pay plan for the position
classifications included in the International Association of Firefighters Local 1215
according to the terms of the 1971 salary settlement, and
WHEREAS, the city administration has prepared a 1971 pay plan for management
position classifications within the fire department as recommended by the city manager
and the Jacobs Company,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED that the city council do and hereby does
establish for the year 1971 the following pay plan, which is to be effective on the
first day of the pay period-closest to January 1, 1971, and subject to the provisions
of the personnel rules and regulations ordinance.
