RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY FOR
PARTICIPATION IN THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF .TRAFFIC
CONTROL SYSTEMS AND STREET LIGHTING, 62ND STREET CROSSTOWN
AND PENN AVENUE SOUTH AND APPROVING PLANS-AND SPECIFICATIONS

BE IT RESOLVED, That the City of Richfield enter into an agreement with the
County of Hennepin:
To install full traffic actuated traffic control signal systems with integral
street lighting at the intersection of County State Aid Highway No. 32 (Penn
Avenue South) and the exit ramps from County State Aid Highway No. 62 as shown
in the project plans and the specifications for Hennepin County Projects No. 6849
and No. 6916, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Agreement for
Participation in The Construction and Operation of said traffic control signals
and street .lights, with copies of such plans, specifications and agreement being
before the Council; and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That said plans and specifications be in all things
approved and that the Mayor and Manager be and hereby are authorized to execute
said agreement and thereby assume for and on behalf of the City all of the
contractual obligations contained therein.
