RESOLUTION NO. 4556
RESOLUTION ADOPTING AN INTERIM BUDGET FOR
THE YEAR 1971 FOR THE MUNICIPAL ICE ARENA
;Vy'I~EREAS, the city is in the process of constructing a municipal ice arena, the
construction of which was authorized subsequent to the formulation of the 1971
annual budget, and
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that such ice arena will be completed and in .service
during part of the year 19 71, and
WHEREAS, it appears necessary to. adopt an interim budget for the municipal ice
arena to cover such portion of 1971.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Richfield
as follows:
1, An interim budget for the muncipal ice arena for the year 1971 is
$50,743.
hereby adopted with -the appropriation to be $ 58 ; Z J-2 .
2. The estimated gross revenues of the city from the operation of such
ice arena, from user charges, is hereby estimated to be $52,000.
3. The budget for the ice arena shall be a division of the Park and
Recreation Department of the General Fund.
;4. The budget resolution for the General Fund for the year 1971 is hereby
modified to the extent provided in this resolution.
