RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT-AND PREPARATION OF PLANS
AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR CLOSING OFF OF HARRIET AND GARFIELD
AVENUES AT SOUTHERN BOUNDARY OF 67TH STREET

WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council, adopted on the 22nd day of March, 1971,
fixed a date for a hearing on the proposed improvement of:

WHEREAS, all property owners, whose property is liable to be assessed for the making of
ese improvements, were given ten days published notice of the Council Hearing through two
ekly publications of the required notice, and mai ed notice as required by law, and the hear-
g was held and the property owners heard thereon, on the 12th day of April, 1971•
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED~by the City Co until of the City of Richfield, Minnesota:
1. That such pro3ect is hereby ordered as proposed in Council Resolution No. 4507 adapted
on the 22nd-day of. February,1971, except that the closing off of Harriet and Garfield Avenues
at the Southern boundary of 67th Street shall be accomplished by constructing two dead end
streets and the landscaping shall 'be done by others.
2. That the City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for these improvements.
He shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of these improvements.
Adopted by the City Council this 12th day of April, 1971.
